Bolas consists of two or three stone or metal weights, joined together by cords. As well as causing damage, a bolas will entangle a victim on a successful hit; victims may attempt a Dex test each round to free themselves, but count as prone targets while entangled. A bolas never causes additional damage and critical hits are always at -10% on the chart. A negative critical hit result indicates that there is no critical hit.
