Greater Daemons are the mightiest of a Chaos god's followers and are rightly feared as such. They are second only to their Chaos god in power and have authority over all the other Daemons that serve the same god. They are haughty, arrogant, and malicious to a point beyond mortal comprehension. They are even woshipped by some Human cults as if they were Gods, but only the very powerful or the very foolish attempt to summon them. It is impossible to generalise further about their natures, as they are an extremely varied group of entities. The gods each have their own types of Daemons.
Physique[]
Extremely varied; it is impossible to lay down any guidelines.
Alignment[]
According to ruling deity, though most encountered will follow the Chaos Powers.
Psychological Traits[]
Greater Daemons cause fear in all living creatures and terror in living creatures under 10 feet tall. They are subject to instability.
Special Rules[]
Obviously, gamesmasters are free to create their own Greater Daemons and invent whatever special rules seem appropriate. The profile below is given for the average independent Greater Daemon - if there is such a thing. They fly as swoopers; M given is for ground movement. They are immune to normal weapons, whereas all attacks from a Greater Daemon count as magical and can affect creatures which are invulnerable to non-magical weapons. Greater Daemons can act as leaders over units of Lesser Daemons or living troops of their own alignment.
